Welcome!

Welcome to the Freelancer Forum Reference Blog!  If you file a 1099, you are in the right place! The mission of this blog is to provide freelancers, self employed or independent contractors with a solid place to go for information suited to their needs.

Under each category will be links to sites across the Internet that will lead freelancers to the answers they are seeking. From tax advice, to business, to health insurance to any helpful site that provides legitimate information. You could spend hours trying to find answers to your questions, but here I hope to provide a one stop shop.

Why a blog? Because you can help too. If you know of a site that has provided you with answers, please submit it here! Please either email me or click on comment underneath an appropriate category, provide a general description of the site, and how it helped you, and don't forget the link! This is blog to share information.

Whether you are in Los Angeles, or in New York, post the information! There are freelancers all over the US, and we need to really work together and share resources.

If you have any suggestions or ideas for this blog, please email me at info@freelancerforum.net

Thanks you for visiting.

We are just getting started so check back this week.

Updates for sites and references will be weekly.
