But Are You Making Any Money? LA Small Business Meet Up - Marley Majcher Special Guest - 2/12/09

Los Angeles Small Business Owners Meet Up

Thursday February 12th, 2009 7:30 pm Pasadena

Calling all Solo-preneurs, Entrepreneurs, Consultants and Freelancers:

Most of us leave the world of 9 to 5 in order to be our own boss, make more money and increase our flexibility. But what we don’t realize is…there are a hundred small costs of doing business that put a big dent in the year-end statement. There’s a pretty good chance your ‘real’ income could be significantly higher if you took some small but critical steps in your day-to-day time, logistics and money management. This event is designed to make some mind-blowing changes to your business and make your cash flow...start flowing!

During this one-hour presentation, you will learn a proven job costing method that will allow you to:

*Identify how much it REALLY costs to provide your product or service (you’ll be surprised…or shocked)
* Weed out unnecessary expenses or bill them back to your client
*Focus on what you do best AND what is the most profitable and forget the rest

Our very special guest speaker is Marley Majcher, Job Costing Guru and Million Dollar Marketing Coach to small business owners all over the world.

RSVP Required: Go To http://www.meetup.com/Los-Angeles-Small-Business/

Cost: $10.00 prepaid / $15.00 at Door

About Marley:

Marley Majcher, founder of catering and event planning company, The Party Goddess! has successfully (and personally) employed job costing across many platforms including real estate, event planning, catering, laboratories and the field of medicine. Her hugely successful business ranks among LA’s busiest event companies. In the past, she has presented this topic as a key note speaker across the country, to glowing praise.

We will be meeting in the Citi Smith Barney Building on the 5th Floor in the NY Life conference room. Ample free parking is available. SPACE IS LIMITED - this event is open to non-LASBO members. Though prepayment is not required, IF our RSVP list becomes full between the members and guests, anyone who has not prepaid will be asked to prepay to secure their spot.

Note: Marley is fantastic and you do NOT want to miss this info. If you are coming from a distance to be with us and want to beat traffic, please put "meet up for dinner" in your RSVP comment, and I'll arrange for us to get together for dinner/coffee/happy hour specials nearby so you have something to do before the meeting starts. Sounds fun to me!

Don't forget your business cards, brochures, etc! Before the presentation, we'll do roundtable introductions, starting promptly at 7:30. Depending on the size of the group you will have 15 to 30 seconds ONLY. We will officially end after the presentation, but stick around if you want to network until 9:30.
