Finding Opportunity in a Down Economy

Hopefully by now you have heard what the experts have to say about scaling back your marketing efforts in the current economy. If you haven't, I'll tell you what they've said - DON'T!
As a small business owners it is important to maintain your visibility and work on continually building your network. If your business is invisible, you probably won't have a business for too much longer. But if you maintain your efforts, you stand out in the pack as others shrink back. And once things turn around, you'll have built brand recognition and numerous contacts who'd refer you in a heartbeat.
During this meeting, we'll be discussing how each one of us can find opportunity in a down economy. Some of the topics we will be discussing include:
- Understanding your customers
- Understanding what you have to offer
- Finding and creating opportunities
- Creating a communications plan
Agenda:
Doors open at 7pm
Brief introductions begin at 7:30 (15 to 30 seconds ONLY based on the size of the group)

By the end of the meeting, everyone should walk away with new ideas and/or an action plan of what they can do next.
BRING YOUR BUSINESS CARDS and any other materials you might want to share with the group.
Invite a friend or associate to attend.
Come prepared with an answer to the questions "who is your ideal client?" and "what are you currently looking for?" (this could be a new client, an accountant, a babysitter, or a business book - something you need that you'd like to walk away with a connection to).
Cost for attendance is $10 and you must prepay.
Plenty of free street parking is available at the venue and there is also a small lot behind the building that has free parking as well.
